DAR School Auction Item Donation Collection

Greetings from the committee chair for the DAR School! It is that exciting time of year when I plan the silent auction to be held during our November meeting, which will be at the Newark Country Club on November 18th. 

As in the past, this will be a silent auction. To pay for items for which you have a winning bid, you will be able to pay by cash, check or Wild Apricot online payments.  Checks should be made out to Cooch’s Bridge Chapter, NSDAR.

For anyone new, I would love to offer gift certificates, collectibles, jewelry, antiques, crafts, paintings, knitted or quilted items handmade work that you or a family member might consider donating such as pottery, paintings, jewelry, anything quilted or knitted, a service, gift baskets, and/or gift cards. Anything else you might want to donate, please contact me.

Please, therefore, email me (dkbejger@gmail.com) or call or text my cell (302-383-6044) if you would like to donate.  For each donated item, I will need you to send to me: a photo, name of person donating, starting bid and item description. Please let me know by November 4th. We want to be certain that we have allocated enough space for the auction.

Become a member

As one of the most inclusive genealogical societies in the country, DAR boasts some 3,000 chapters across the United States and internationally. Any woman 18 years or older (regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background), who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership. If you are interested in joining DAR and our chapter, please complete the membership interest form and contact our registrar by clicking Cooch's Bridge Registrar.
