Happy New Year Daughters! We hope you will come join us in kicking off 2024 activities by attending our January meeting at Courtyard by Marriot in Newark, located at 400 David Hollowell Dr, Newark, DE 19716. The cost of the luncheon will be $36. There will be coffee, tea, and fellowship starting at 10:00AM and the meeting will begin promptly at 10:30AM. We will not be reading reports at this meeting! Instead of reports, the board has a special surprise planned that you won’t want to miss! Our speaker will be our very own Stephanie Menei who will give a presentation on The Brave Women of the Titanic! Did you know there were DAR members aboard the ill-fated maiden voyage of the infamous ocean liner? We will once again have a buffet-style luncheon.

Luncheon Buffet Menu

Spring green Salad, Chicken with Leeks & Mushrooms atop basmati rice, Stuffed Flounder Florentine, Potatoes Au Gratin, Chefs choice of seasonal garden-fresh vegetables. Assorted dessert bar, cookies and brownies

Served with freshly brewed coffee, decaf, and herbal tea. Freshly baked rolls and butter

We will also be collecting donations for the Food Bank of Delaware at this meeting, so bring a few cans, cartons or cases and join us! Look for more details in the December newsletter.

Please RSVP by no later than January 15th.
